Installing the Configuration Utility

Windows 98, 98SE, Me, and 2000

1. After the system restarts, insert the Actiontec 54 Mbps Wireless PC Card CD-

ROM in the computer’s CD-ROM drive if you have not done so already.

The InstallShield Wizard will launch when drive door closes. If the

InstallShield Wizard has not launched, look for the file named

“SETUP.EXE” in the root directory of the Actiontec 54 Mbps Wireless PC

Card Installation CD-ROM and double-click on it.

2. The InstallShield Wizard “Welcome” screen will appear and notify you that

it is ready to install the 802.11a Wireless LAN (54Mbps Wireless PC Card)

Configuration Utility. Click Next to continue.

3. The InstallShield Wizard will proceed with the installation. Once

completed, click Finish to continue.

Note: For 98/98 SE users - the Windows Management Information (WMI)

utility will now be installed. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete

the installation. Click OK to restart.If the WMI tools are already installed

on the computer, click No to abort the installation.
